Colonial Kids Camp

                                         Summer 2009

 

Who:         For children ages 9-14 (minimum 5 max 15 per session)


What:       Colonial games, hearth cooking, sewing and early American daily                            living will be the over all theme.  Supervised bread making,
                candle
making, quill writing and many more interesting period
                activities. Some activities will be separate for boys and girls to cater
                to their interests.  Additional topics include Revolutionary War and
                local history.
 
                    * Students are welcome to attend up to two sessions.

    Historic Ivy Cliff c. 1790 Home of Revolutionary War Captain                             Henry Brown.

                5566 New London Road, Forest VA just 4.5 miles from Sheets and Food  
                Lion on Rt460 and 811.     


When:      June 15-19 & 22-26 / July 13-17 & 20-24 / August 3-7 & 10-14

               8:30-8:45am drop of time / 3pm pick up

               * Students need to bring a bag lunch -snacks will be provided


Cost:       $159.00 per child.  $50 registration fee - $109 due one week before camp.

              Children older than 14 are welcome to attend for free if willing to assist in

              camp programs (limited space available).  For more information or
