I don't know if I am any relation to the above individual. If anyone has any information about this please let me know. I have a grandfather named John Wilcox Brown who was born in Arcadia, LA in 1877. I believe his father was from VA and was named David E Brown whose wife Was probably from GA.

Chris, This is outstanding! So glad to see this website and the wonderful job that has been done with this magnificent home. My father was the last Brown born at Ivy Cliff. Unfortunately his parents couldn't hang on and sold it at auction when he was four years old. We have long thought how wonderful it would be if we could afford to bring it back into the family some day. Great job! I hope the next owner will give the place the care you and the Wiles family has.

I'll be right over to take a bath in that old clawfoot tub! Love those! We used to have one at an old farmhouse shere I grew up in Indiana. Really miss those baths!!! You have a beautiful home. I'm sure you will miss it dearly.

Hello. It was nice to have met you both yesterday at the New London Fly-In. I was the one working in the photo booth. Your home is so beautiful.

I adore your home but my husband isn't too fond of old homes. If I could talk him into it we would buy it tomorrow.
